Has anyone ever done analysis on using Questrade's Forex unit (QuestradeFX) to exchange USD -> CAD instead of using Norbert's Gambit? http://www.questrade.com/pricing/FX-CFDS/pricing The spread for USDCAD is 2 pips, which to me appears to be better than Norbert's Gambit because the liquidity on DLR.U -> DLR.TO is sometimes not that good. Also, it takes time to journal etc. Furthermore, the $10 commission ($5 for buy&sell) might be extra. Am I missing something?
